About Pathum Thani

Pathum Thani province neighbors Bangkok, and is sometimes even considered as a suburb of Bangkok. The province of Pathum Thani is regarded as the technology and education center of Thailand. The province has several research facilities, universities, and industrial parks.

This Thai province is best known for its Ayutthaya era’s temples such as Wat Sing and Wat Hong Pathummawat. Since it is located in the Chao Phraya Basin, it is a well-irrigated and fertile area and thus a lot of its produce, such as vegetables, flowers, and fruits, are sold at the famous Talad Thai market.

Other attractions of Pathum Thani include the National Science Museum, the Rangsit Science Center for Education and the Wat Chedi Thong temple.
