Khao Sok - Surat Thani

Khao Sok – Surat Thani by Bus

We offer a host of options for the Khao Sok-Surat Thani bus route. Bus operator Phantip 1970 provides over 25 trips every day from Khao Sok to Surat Thani between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. On average, the bus commute from Khao Sok to Surat Thani lasts anywhere between 2 hours and 2 hours 30 minutes.

Tickets are priced in the range of 224 Baht and 280 Baht. Presently, we offer only Economy class air-conditioned buses from Khao Sok to Surat Thani. These buses are equipped with comfortable seats that recline to a 120-degree position.

About Khao Sok National Park

Khao Sok National Park is the world’s oldest evergreen forest. The highlights of this national park are caves, valleys, lakes, wild animals, flora, and much more. The park is spread across an area of 739 square kilometers. The park also has Rafflesia, which is the largest flower in the world.

There are various 2-5 day safaris in the park that include various activities like elephant trekking, canoeing, jungle trekking, bamboo rafting etc. Many tourists also enjoy the boat tours to Cheow Larn Lake. People can experience riding an elephant in a forest, and also learn to take care of the animal.

Some of the wild mammals included in the park are Asian Elephant, Tiger, Sambar Deer and many more.

Tips for Travelers

Rafflesia Kerri flower reaches a diameter of above 75 metres; the best time to see this flower, fully bloomed is in November/December. However, the flower has an annoying fragrance, something similar to rotten eggs.
